oblr feeding on fruit

The obliquebanded leafroller model:

time sprays beginning at 360 degree days (base 50) after 'biofix', i.e. first sustained trap capture of the first summer generation of adults

Example:

This trap catch (right) of adult OBLR's, which we call the biofix, triggers the degree-day based model to predict the first hatch of the larvae, which occurs at 360 degree days from the beginning of the adult flight. Traps should be hung the last week in May. Then, accumulate 360 degree days (base 50) to start treatment which targets the young larvae.
