Golden Supreme -- An early Golden Delicious-type apple from Michigan. Ripens mid-late September in New England. Russet-free, but uneven ripening and suscpetible to pre-harvest fruit drop. Vigorous, upright-growing tree with a strong biennial bearing habit. Despite these faults, worth considering because it is early and has good eating quality.
